Club Rules

We have a very young squad of players with the oldest just turned 30. The rest are in their early 20's. Nine of the current squad played for the club during its first season back in 2003.

Craig Farmer - Squad number 1

Craig played for us in our first season and was the managers player of the season, however he left us to play for various clubs and occasionally came back to play for us. We were looking forward to him  returning to us as our first choice keeper, but has since made himself unavailable for selection.

Our Club Captain who leads by example. Made his debut on 6th December 2003.
Our unbeaten 15 match run a couple of years ago coincided with his return from injury. Practices striking the ball very hard from distance and probably scored our goal of the season when he beat the Lavendon keeper with a 40 yard free kick.

Ian Fraser- Squad No 6
An excellent two footed player with great vision and passing ability. He played for us in our first couple of seasons and  was a great acquisition when he briefly played for us again a couple of seasons ago. He is now back for the third time. Hopefully for good. Can play anywhere but plays mostly in midfield for us.

RussatCastlethorpe.JPG

Russell Whitcomb - Squad No 8
Has been with the club since our first season and continues to get better. He occasionally goes and plays for other teams, but thankfully comes back. Although he has only played a few games in the last couple of seasons, he has always performed well and we are looking forward to him being available more often this season.

Team: Manchester United.

SeanF22008.jpg

Sean Farrell - Squad No 9
He joined the club last season and has been a very adaptable and useful player. He has a good touch and is a welcome addition to the club.  If there was an award for the most positions played in a season Sean would have won it. He is now starting to produce the sort of football we hoped when he first joined us.

2009/10   15 (4) 3
Team - Arsenal.

Dan Jones - Squad No 10
He works as hard as anyone in the club and although his goals tally is not as high as he would have liked his contribution to the team has been much appreciated by all those that have played with him. Players player of  the season 2008/09.

Thornborough/Jamiekeeper.JPG

Jamie Lands - Squad No 12
Jamie originally started an attacking midfield player and once scord a hat-trick in 20 minutes when he came on as a substitute. He rejoined the club to play in goal and is returning again to play outfield and add to his goal tally. He has however been put back between the posts in recent weeks.

Benk20082.jpg
Ben Knowles - Squad No 13

Ryan2008.jpg

Ryan Parsons - Squad No 16
If he wasn't a season ticket holder at Arsenal would have played many more games. Thankfully Arsenal do not always play on Saturday afternoons. Despite his unavailability became our leading goalscorer a couple of season ago with 15 goal in 15 starts. An excellent finisher.

James Hardwick - Squad No 17

James was in our team when we first joined the league. He has drifted in and out of football since then, helping out when he could. This season he is determined to make full use of his touch and techical ability and stake his place in the team.

Louis2008.jpg

Louis Perriss - Squad No 18
Joined the club last season and soon became a regular starter for the club. With his telescopic legs and heading ability, has been a useful addition to our defence but we are hoping to make more of his attacking abilities this season. He impressed his teammates with his performances during his first season.

Jaz20082.jpg

Jaz Gill - Squad No 19

We are hoping to get some games from Jaz this season, so that he can show us he still has the fleetness of foot and eye for goal that he is renowned.
2 goals in 45 minutes of a pre-season friendly showed he still has it.
2009/10  4 (1) 0

Team: Arsenal.

Dan Toon - Squad No 20
Another player who has returned to the club this season. He missed last season with an injury and once he he fit again, we hoped he would soon be back to his best, but sadly a break will probably keep him out until next season.
